MATH 161 - Honors Calculus I |

First course in a two semester honors calculus sequence. Topics include limits, continuity, derivatives of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions, linear approximation, L'Hopital's rule, integration, and fundamental theorems of calculus. Applications of calculus to both physical and geometric problems is emphasized, in addition to a special emphasis on concepts and theory.
